Today I’m delighted to be taking part in the blog tour for Little Book of Hope by Louise Hall.

We lose all hope and feel that there is nothing to look forward to.Little Book of Hope helps you find your way back again – through Reflections to guide you through the difficult times, together with: Family. Friends. Rest. Time – for yourself. Walk. Talk. Cry. Grieve. Meditate. Pray. Accept things. Patience.Dedicated to all those around the world who have lost hard but loved much – that you may re-discover Hope and welcome the beautiful pleasure of joy back into your lives.

My Thoughts
This is a delightful little book. It is small enough to carry around with you everywhere to be available whenever the need arises. However you choose to use it, each page features a small verse to lighten the soul and lift the mind from darkness. There is a spiritual and religious element to the book but whatever your beliefs, if you are feeling in need of a few comforting words, then you will find them here.
I used this book as a little mind calmer last thing at night and early in the morning. I rise a little earlier than needed to do some yoga and attempt a few minutes meditation and as I sit and enjoy the peace of a new day, I can pick this up and read a page or two. The birth of this book comes from the author’s own personal grief and it is encouraging, I think, that something so beautiful can be born from such sadness. Thank you Louise for sharing your beautiful poetry.
My personal favourite is:
Remember the value of time
and
the beauty of simplicity
pick up a fallen friend
and
soothe many sorrows
Little Book of Hope by Louise Hall.
