I came across The Classics Club on Goodreads and was immediately tempted to join. The club was created in 2012 by a blogger who wanted to see more people posting about classics, talking about classics and, of course, reading more classics. There are SO many books that I have wanted to revisit or read for the first time and this seemed the perfect opportunity to do just that. So I joined up and today I would like to share with you my chosen 50(ish) books. I’ll then endeavour to read and write about them over the next five years. I wanted to create a list rich in variety of both books that I’ve loved earlier in my life and books that I’m inspired to read. I can’t wait to get started.
If you would like to find out more about The Classics Club then please visit their website here.
I have mostly chosen novels but there are also some memoir and short story collections.

So what do you think of my list? I’m sure you’ve heard of most, if not all of them. I shall keep you updated on each and every one as I read so do be sure to follow the blog.
Thank you for visiting Tales Before Bedtime today. Please do share, like, follow and/or comment to show your support. I’d love to know what you’re reading at the moment.
P.s – you can also make a donation by clicking the ‘support this blog’ tab in the right hand column). This will help with my running costs and would be greatly received.
